Very easy read. Kelly Gay continues to be on of my favorite authors in the Halo Universe. While clearly this book is meant to bridge Halo Infinite with whatever game comes next, I do feel that she does a good job making an obviously transitional story feel meaningful and important. Halo: Edge of Dawn: A Master Chief Story by Kelly Gay stands as a deliberate and reflective continuation of Halo Infinite, offering longtime fans a prose-driven exploration of the franchise’s post-Infinite landscape. Outside of a repetitive and somewhat cringe-worthy intro (the Steve joke, come on), the novel turns into a quite......more
