Synopsis

The Choice: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience! *   Opposites attract in this moving #1 New York Times bestseller about love lost and found between a medical student and the man who captures her heart.

Travis Parker has everything a man could want: a good job, loyal friends, even a waterfront home in small-town North Carolina. In full pursuit of the good life - boating, swimming , and regular barbecues with his good-natured buddies -- he holds the vague conviction that a serious relationship with a woman would only cramp his style. That is, until Gabby Holland moves in next door.

Spanning the eventful years of young love, marriage and family, THE CHOICE ultimately confronts us with the most heart-wrenching question of all: how far would you go to keep the hope of love alive?   *Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

About Nicholas Sparks

Nicholas Charles Sparks was born in Omaha, Nebraska in December 1965. He is an American novelist primarily, but has also developed into a screen - writer and producer of films. He is an Alumni of the University of Note Dame, and is recently separated from wife, Cathy. They have five children.

At 19, Sparks was inspired to begin writing by a comment his Mother made to him. After writing two early novels, Sparks sought to attend law school, but was rejected. He tried several other careers in the next three years before co-authoring a book that only sold 50,000 copies the first year. It was not until moving to Washington, DC in 1993, that he wrote his most famous and celebrated novel, The Notebook. The novel was discovered by a literary agent who found it in her agencies "slush pile". In 1996, The Notebook made the New York Times best-selling listing the first week it was released.

Sparks has had several international best-sellers and several have been adapted to film: Message in a Bottle, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, Nights in Rodanthe, Dear John, The Last Song, The Lucky One, Safe Haven, and The Best of Me.

But I had to ask a friend if it had a happy ending or a sad one, cause I wanted to be prepared going into it. I usually don't do that but with this author, you just never know!
