Synopsis

Message in a Bottle: Booktrack Edition adds an immersive musical soundtrack to your audiobook listening experience! *
Divorced and disillusioned about relationships, Theresa Osborne is jogging when she finds a bottle on the beach. Inside is a letter of love and longing to "Catherine," signed simply "Garrett." Challenged by the mystery and pulled by emotions she doesn't fully understand, Theresa begins a search for this man that will change her life. What happens to her is unexpected, perhaps miraculous-an encounter that embraces all our hopes for finding someone special, for having a love that is timeless and everlasting.... Nicholas Sparks exquisitely chronicles the human heart. In his first bestselling novel, The Notebook, he created a testament to romantic love that touched readers around the world. Now in this New York Times bestseller, he renews our faith in destiny, in the ability of lovers to find each other no matter where, no matter when...
*Booktrack is an immersive format that pairs traditional audiobook narration to complementary music. The tempo and rhythm of the score are in perfect harmony with the action and characters throughout the audiobook. Gently playing in the background, the music never overpowers or distracts from the narration, so listeners can enjoy every minute. When you purchase this Booktrack edition, you receive the exact narration as the traditional audiobook available, with the addition of music throughout.

About Nicholas Sparks

Nicholas Charles Sparks was born in Omaha, Nebraska in December 1965. He is an American novelist primarily, but has also developed into a screen - writer and producer of films. He is an Alumni of the University of Note Dame, and is recently separated from wife, Cathy. They have five children.

At 19, Sparks was inspired to begin writing by a comment his Mother made to him. After writing two early novels, Sparks sought to attend law school, but was rejected. He tried several other careers in the next three years before co-authoring a book that only sold 50,000 copies the first year. It was not until moving to Washington, DC in 1993, that he wrote his most famous and celebrated novel, The Notebook. The novel was discovered by a literary agent who found it in her agencies "slush pile". In 1996, The Notebook made the New York Times best-selling listing the first week it was released.

Sparks has had several international best-sellers and several have been adapted to film: Message in a Bottle, A Walk to Remember, The Notebook, Nights in Rodanthe, Dear John, The Last Song, The Lucky One, Safe Haven, and The Best of Me.

For those of you (like me) who have seen the movie of the same name starring Kevin Costner, the end of this novel will come as no surprise. I knew what I was getting in for when I started this book and kept the tissues well-stocked. In fact, I had to stop reading it on the bus for fear of crying in......more

4.5/5 I was looking for a good book to bring on my summer vacation about a week ago and staring at my book shelves for more than thirty minutes, I had no clue what to do. I usually pick a few books that catch my eye and suit my mood and I guess I just get a feeling for the right one. But this time, I......more

I read this immediately after A Bend in the Road so Garrett's wife's death is very similar to Miles' wife but here there was no mystery but lot of love and sadness. The story starts while a success columnist who at 36 is divorced with a 12 years old son is vacationing and comes across a message in a......more
