I wanted to like this, but it was a rhyming book, and the rhyming seemed very forced to me. The illustrations had beautiful colors, but it just seem kind of strange to me when the middle of the book was filled with mermaids and giraffes. So it was okay, but I didn't think it was great.......more

The rhyming text has weird syntax and flow, and this book would be much better if the authors hadn't tried to make it rhyme. The illustrations and message are lovely, however, and I appreciated the note at the end about how the authors based this on their families.......more
