I read the 'New Diet Revolution' book in around 2004 and for 6 months or so it really helped me and my health and also helped me lose weight. The changes in this book include that: lean meat is okay to eat, there are more vegetables on induction, there are 2 paths in phase 4, and there are vegetarian......more

I totally misunderstood this weight loss approach. I have always thought of Atkins as a high-protein diet, with shakes and protein bars, which does not appeal to me at all.
